Welcome to the Upstate Writing Resource Center!

If this is your first time accessing our online scheduling system, click the blue “Register for an account” link, located to the left. You must use your Upstate e-mail address and create a password to log in and make an appointment. These credentials will also help you log in for future appointments. Our writing consultants provide support with any writing project during any point in your writing process. We offer two types of appointments: e-tutoring appointments and online appointments.

• E-tutoring Appointments are asynchronous and provides an opportunity to submit your writing online for a written response from a writing consultant.
• Online Appointments are synchronous and allow you to meet with a tutor virtually. These appointments include real-time video consultations and can be scheduled for 30 or 60 minutes.

After uploading your writing assignment to the appointment form, you will receive an email from the Writing Center when your consultant has submitted feedback.

Turnaround Time

5 pages or less: 3 days

6-10 pages: 5 days

11-20 pages: 7 days

20 pages or more: 10 days
